Gregory E. Melnick, Jr. received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School and a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from Boston University Law School. He has worked in the tax field as a Certified Public Accountant and/or an attorney since 1980. Mr. Melnick has practiced law in Florida since 1992.
Mr. Melnick's practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, estate and trust taxation, asset protection planning and international estate planning. He also handles IRS controversies in those areas.
Mr. Melnick is a member of the Florida Bar (Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section and the Tax section). He is board certified by the Florida Bar as a Wills, Trusts and Estates Specialist. Mr. Melnick has conducted and participated in many estate planning seminars. He is a Vietnam veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps and is active in local veterans' organizations.
